France

France is seen as a world power as evidenced by a cultural, political and military influence, and secondly its economic power.

A- A rayonnementculturel
The fact that France is a former colonial power allows him to exercise an important influence in the world, especially in its former colonies. This influence passeessentiellement by language: there is 200 million French speakers in the world (Africa, Canada,
Antilles) most former French colonies have retained the French as langueofficielle after independence.
Furthermore, the quality of its culture allows France to shine in the world: French culture (literature, art) is expressed through the many museums, theaters and concert halls; France is the top tourist destination in the world, French cuisine passes for
best in the world; Parisian fashion is a world leader; LaFrance customizes freedom and human rights.

B- A political and military influence
France wants a leading role in world diplomacy through its membership of auConseil UN Security (veto), NATO and the G8. France has a very large military force thanks to nuclear weapons: it intervenes militarily in the mondeentier to pacify the troubled areas, particularly in Africa.
Finally, France sends NGOs such as Doctors Without Borders, Handicap International, around the world to help lespopulations in trouble.
